RL 2 Avi: Fall Trends 2013

Almost a year in the making!  Last year, around October, Risque Fashion Magazine was born and we started our first issue with RL 2 Avi: Fall Trends!  Finally another round of Fall trends (my favorite by the way)!  Okay, so how much have things changed?  IMMENSELY, and it's SO exciting!  Let's dive on in and see what's going on for Fall of 2013.

Real Life 2 Avi: Fall Trends 2013

Winter White: That would be ALL WHITE is ALL RIGHT!  Head to toe!
Knit Beanies: Cute as can be, give your outfit that chic flare you need for fall.  This isn't only for casual wear.  Make sure you pair this practical and affordable item with your office ensemble too!
Classic Patterns: Last season there were a lot of digital patterns and mixing of patterns.  This season it seems that designers are ready to tone it back down to the classics.  Houndstooth is back in style and so is leopard!  Make variations on your leopard prints though and keep it fresh (pink, blue, etc).
OVER THE KNEE BOOTS: Don't pardon my CAPSLOCK for it.  RAWR!!!  No more hybrid sandal-wedge-boot-BLAH.
Turtlenecks: Don't make me explain this any further than this needs to go.  Classic. Practical.  Sigh of happiness.
Shades of Green: Green is this fall's IN color. Emerald especially!  Let's break out some jewel tones to go with it like Sapphire, Amethyst, etc.  Experiment with the different shades of green and find the one that's right for you!
Slouchy Pants: Remember the flare of big bright patterned pants that broke out in the spring?  Well it's over!  Now it's trousers that start above the waist-line, fit loose, and are a bit more snug around the ankles.  Comfy!
Statement Outerwear: GO GET YOU A FLASHY COAT!  Basic styles are IN right now and all you need to finish your flare is a BOLD coat!
Folk Inspired Pieces: That hand-woven pattern look.  Throw your urban spin on them and really turn it up!
Rounded Shoulders:  From sweatshirts, to sports jackets, to dresses with statement sleeves.  (I'm not a big fan of this but I'll work with it!)
Peplum: It's STILL in style so don't get rid of it yet!  Keep experimenting with it especially with these new trends.
Leather: Use it!  Just don't do ALL leather, yuck.  Mix it with taste and don't get too bulky.
Military Inspired Looks: Let's keep the party going again this fall!

Trends: Beanie, Folk Inspired Skirt, Over The Knee Boots

Trends: Military Inspired, Shades of Green

Trends: Military Inspired, Leopard print

Trends: Beanie, Turtle Neck, Leopard, Leather

Trends: Beanie, Emerald, Over The Knee Boots

Trends: Beanie, Loose Fit Trousers, I-Pad sized bag

Trends: Beanie, Over the knee boots, Basic Style

Trends: Beanie, Winter Whites

Trends: Beanie, Emerald Green

Trends: Beanie, Shades of Green, Winter Whites

GLITTERATI EVENT SEPT 2013

So here is the visual for everybody who missed Glitterati this month, but don't be too upset if you missed it.  The video is coming soon!  We had a lot of people who were dying to make it and couldn't because the house was jam packed!  Make your reservations early for next month and make sure you're prompt or this exclusive event may just go on without you!

Here's some quotes from some of the people who attended.

"My overall opinion of the Glitterati event was great!! I got no bad vibes or anything. I know that many members in the fashion community on home have a history- some great, and some not so great. However, I got the vibe that everyone was chill, about having fun, and living fashion. Not to mention the decor was boss, and the DJ Barbie handled it! I don't listen to that much Hip Hop but what she played was great!! The ladies put on a GREAT show. There wasn't a dull fit in the bunch! Now, onto how I think it can influence the Home fashion community.  There is beef, and for many different reasons, everything from "We're taking over" to " You only use 1-pieces and sets- so how is THAT imaginative and fashionable?!" to "You ain't gonna win because this is my sis" and "Im above it all and dont deal with low class wannabes". I think I listed most of it. This event mixes it up and draws a line. Either you have what it takes or you don't.  It's pure fashion. You see 1-pieces getting KNOCKED OUT THE PARK! Sets Reinvented AND Monster Mashups. Props is given when due, and everyone is adult about everything.  This is a positive in my opinion.  Fashion should never be about cliques.  Sure you have people that have the same taste in common, but at the end of the day- you're either fabulous or you're not. To me, that seemed the focus on Glitterati and it was indeed refreshing! :)  (Sorry I talk to much! LOL)" -Cocoa_real83

"The overall feeling from me was "FLABBERGASTED, best show" the designs of the dresses can change home and you started a new beginning!" -Blkhwk-0117

"I felt Glitterati brought a new style of events, showing fashion and bringing many organizations together, letting them show what their clubs have to offer, as big as the fashion community is you'll be holding these twice a month once the word gets out. I enjoyed myself." -cobras-toxic

"It was a very nice event..." "It helps a GREAT DEAL because it gives people something to do other than do dumb things while on home. It allows people the chance to show a side of them that they are good at. It shows that not all people on Home have extra dumb drama, things that can be found on home. It may give a person who has no sense of belonging a place to be themselves.  It gives your group a chance to see where u guys have a place to showcase your work. If the event stays the way they were, overall I see GREAT THINGS for your group" -MR_AMAZIN_09

"My response is like I said, the many females that were there were very very open minded on how they put on their outfits. Was nothing less than beauty itself and I have 2 words for it: BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL"

Exclusive Interview: Fashionaire

This month's Exclusive Interview is Mami2Real212 of Fashionaire!  She is a new owner of her modeling agency on PS Home and is well on her way to doing big things.  From the amazing talent she has so far, to her amazing networking skills, she is definitely a valid name in the fashion community.  Without further, I present to you...

Mami2Real212 - Founder of Fashionaire

Evie: Hello everyone!  Misz Evie back again this September with a brand new and fresh interview for you!  I'm here with Mami2Real212 from new fashion group Fashionaire!  Welcome!

Mami: Hello, thank you for having me :)

Evie: The pleasure is ours! :) Looking very fashionista might I add.  Let's get to know you and your group Fashionaire.  How did your group begin, and why the name Fashionaire?

Mami: I love fashion.  I came from another game called IMVU.  I ran a modeling agency there and after 2 years, a friend introduced me to Home.  Although I've had my PS3 since late 2008, I didn't know about Home.  So, I joined Home and of course I had to start another fashion club because that's what I'm into.  At first I wasn't sure because I felt limited.  But, I remembered something I've always known.  It's all about working with what you have.  I've never joined a fashion club on here, so I didn't know the limits.  I decided to just try it out and see how it goes.  The name Fashionaire means we are rich in fashion.

Evie: Very interesting!  Transitioning from IMVU to PS Home I'm sure took some getting used to.  Do you feel as though you are comfy here on Home, now that you've had some time to adjust?

Mami: Yes very much so.  Home is my new Home, lol.

Evie: Amen!  Tell us about what Fashionaire does, and Fashionaire's mission statement for the Fashion Community.

Mami: Fashionaire comes from the word billionaire.  Add fashion to it and you get Fashionaire.  What we do for the community is give models a fair, unbiased chance to enter and win great prizes, and of course expand their wardrobe while doing so.

Evie: So would you call your group more of an agency or a fashion game show?

Mami: I would say a modeling agency/club.

Evie: Cool, so your competition would be also called Fashionaire, or does that have a separate name?

Mami: Yes, it would always be called Fashionaire, but will also have a theme for each fashion competition.  Example FASHIONAIRE Presents: "End of Summer" fashion competition.

Evie: That's definitely a strong move for you to have your own competition, with such little time owning a PS Home modeling agency.  I have always thought that when you do the things that your heart is passionate about, time stands still anyway.

Mami: Oh yes, definitely.  It makes it tolerable.

Evie: What were your main obstacles starting this group?  I know it probably took some time to put together your own wardrobe, but how did you start of putting your team together?

Mami: I'd have to say picking a time that'd be great for everyone, because everyone isn't on the same time zone.  My boyfriend really helps me out.  He pretty much finds awesome females, I don't know how he does it.  Because of that, it makes it a bit easier to work on other things.

Evie: Shout out to the boyfriend, lol! So it's now time to ask about Mami2Real212's personal fashion style.  What would be your signature style?

Mami: Honestly, my signature style is casual/chic, I'm a girly girl, but I also like a little bit of everything.

Evie: Nice :) What do you think Home is missing as far as fashion?  What things would you like to see in the future?

Mami: I would love to see women blazers.  More french style hats.  More hand bags.

Misz Evie (left), Mami2Real212 (middle), Keema (right)

Keema: (Yelling from background) I NEED NEW WEAVE!  I'M TIRED OF REWASHING MY WIGS!

Evie: LOL!

Mami: Lol! I know right!

Evie: So this weekend we have the all new RFM Event: Glitterati coming up.  Fashionaire will be the first featured group at our live display of our September 2013 issue.  What can our attendees expect to see from Fashionaire?

Mami: They can expect to see some creative, wild, funky style. :)

Evie: Can't wait! :D Can you tell the world how they can find your work, and get in contact with Fashionaire?

Mami: Our website is under construction at this moment.  They can contact me on PSN: Mami2Real212 or www.facebook.com/fashionaireClub.  Search Fashionaire on youtube and it'll pop up I'm sure.

Evie: Very nice Mami.  :)  It was a pleasure featuring Fashionaire here at Risque Fashion Magazine!  Any shout outs before we go?

Mami: Thank you.  It's been fun.  Shout out to my boyfriend jds5442, our models, and of course our supporters: HoneyCombFrog and Moontang.  Shout out to you ladies, Evie and Keema, thank you for this wonderful opportunity.  Keep doing what you're doing.  You're both awesome! :)

Evie: You're very welcome, and thank you for stopping by Risque Fashion Magazine: Hottest fashion magazine for PS Home!

Keema: ^^_^^ Thank you Mami.  You're awesome as well!  We wish you great success on your fashion agency/club!

It has been a pleasure to meet and be able to work with Mami.  She is very down to earth and inspiring with her very innovative fashion.  Risque Fashion Magazine will continue to support Fashionaire in the future as well as all of the fashion groups that you have encountered in this magazine.  I'd like to personally welcome Fashionaire to the Risque Fashion Magazine family.
